Upgrades and migration goes hand in hand with performance and conversions.

Based in Florida, the non-profit organization produces and distributes feature films and film-based educational programs for young Jews with the intention of building emotional connections to Israel and Jewish heritage. Founded in 2009 the company's primary mission is to provide a fresh lens for learning about Israel and Judaism. With over 16,000 course participants and 2,500,000 film views from schools, camps, synagogues and more, the nonprofit organization is growing at an impressive rate.

Challenge

With a rich assortment of content to work with, the client faced one major challenge connecting with their audience virtually and digitally while maintaining authenticity. The organization's existing website required a complete revamp, powered by a strong E-commerce platform capable of delivering a media-rich experience integrating the client's feature-length and educational films. Distribution needed to occur via not just the website, but also social media, television, grassroots campaigns and more.

Solution

The team at Ameex presented a suggestion of moving to Magento as a proposed Content Management System (CMS). A number of functionalities were tailored specifically to JU's website promotional code coupons, donation options and pre-order links were incorporated into a complete revamp of the site. Secured transactions adhering to PCI compliance are now possible via the client's website, and important product pages are now structured with detailed license agreements that explain the do's and don'ts of purchasing the organization's products.

Perhaps most importantly, user experience was tailored to create an emotional connection with the audience when visiting the site-a key goal for the client.
